This one’s a no for me.
1st conflict could have been resolved with a simple talk. Like, honey, if you wanted to know if he liked you ASK HIM!! Don’t threaten him with divorce nor ask him to “give you want you want” without clues. The alpha was trying so hard I actually feel bad for him.
The rape was absolutely unnecessary. I’m honestly sick of that trope, every yaoi manga has it and it shouldn’t be treated as lightly as they do.
The 2nd conflict (omega to beta to omega again) came to nothing whatsoever in the end? Could have lived without that unnecessary conflict.
The friend is hot but why did he had to be obsessed with the omega?? Come on!! I would have preferred a cute friend’s reunion and a second couple introduced to the story.
So sorry, I had such high hopes for this and ended disappointed in too many ways. If you liked it, I’m so happy for you so please don’t leave any hateful comments <3
Don’t get me wrong, I love the DomSub concept but it didn’t felt right.
Things that I didn’t like:
-The Dom manipulated the Sub into becoming a thing. This relationships are based on trust so this wasn’t a great start.
-The Sub felt guilty about using his safe word. This is the biggest no for me, no one should EVER feel bad for putting limits when they’re not comfortable.
-The other Dom also manipulated the Sub and afterwards went “you should have told me you had a partner”. He implied that abusing Subs is right as long as they don’t belong to someone, everyone deserves respect no matter their relationship status.
-How sub-space and sub-drop were represented
On the other part, the art is gorgeous and overall it was fun to read.
