Correction, it's in the side story. No harem through the main story, the author wanted to keep it purely on the main story and did the side story for the romance "what if" which is said to be more so to the last 5 chapters of the 30 chapter side story.

ahh so since its "what if " then its not real its just author wanted to show what if he chose different girls then he would have different endings ..???

I think so, didn't look too deep into the side story details, but it seems that way. So we can safely enjoy the story since he'll not have interactions with the females in any romance ways until I believe the side story if they do them and not entirely sure if he does pick one in that or not. I just know he doesn't end up with any through the main story plot.

that's all i needed to continue this series
