I just want to kill that blonde pedophile. I can't stand these kind of backstories. The uke crying for his abuser, my stomach can't handle that it's too triggering. He doesn't know any better and it hits too close to home. Makes me want to cry.
I'm glad he escaped. But this story made me feel all those icky feelings so I won't rate it.
Obviously main couple is going to survive. The blonde and older guy, I think one of them might die and they confess to each other dramatically before one passes away or something. The pink hair and glasses guy really piqued my interest (=・ω・=) I like them
I hope everyone of them gets a HEA. But I'm sure that won't happen bc of the genre

Half way through I was sure I was going to rate this 5 stars. The transition of one relationship to another seemed reasonable and the romance was evenly paced, I'd say. Then the angst came. Not so much out of left field since the author did hint towards it. I understand the reaction of both characters considering none of them have received any kind of therapy for their traumatic experiences, their reactions were right within their unhealthy reasoning.
What left me so unsatisfied was that the reunion was not fleshed out like the rest of the story. It was rushed yet extended (?), just weirdly unsatisfactory. I can't put my finger on what exactly I would've wished would happen, but I just know this wasn't it. Did the author burn out in the end and just wrapped it up this way? Idk what to rate this, I just probably won't （￣へ￣）
I wish the ending of this was more similar to that for Dangerous Convenience Store (great read also).
