It def won't be the end of cliff but I'm not sure we'll see him in that world. I'm also confident we'll get an arch where mc enters a rift back to his original dimesiom (or that's what I'd do at least if I was the author) but yeah maybe this really does get relegated to senseless porn with zero plot.
