Disclaimer: I don’t care if I get hate for this, I stand by everything I say here. So I loved every bit of this story until the thing with the father dropped and I was so furiously angry that I literally cried and wanted to throw up. Taeyi’s brother was a shit person for deliberately going after a married man, knowing that he had a kid only a bit younger than himself. What’s worse is that he had his own father leave him so he knows exactly what it feels like but he still essentially tried to get Seheon’s father to leave him as well and it gets even worse when you think that Seheon is the same age as his own little brother. What made me so much more disgusted though is that the father didn’t see anything wrong with the fact that his lover was SOOOOO FUCKING MUCH LIKE HIS OWN SON!!!!!!! Like what the fuck has to be wrong with you for every fucking person in the story that knew both your lover and kid, saw that they were basically fucking identical in personality and mannerisms, but you still though it was okay to fucking date them?!?!?!!?? Since he was Seheon’s father there’s no fucking way he didn’t see the similarity but he still had the audacity to have semi-incesty feelings for someone that’s the spitting image of his own child. I literally couldn’t even enjoy any of the rest of the story after this because I was so put off. It felt like just those few chapters defiled my image of the whole story, despite how much I loved it before everything happened. I know people are gonna defend them by saying stuff like “the father loved him and wasn’t happy in his marriage,” “they’re not the same person,” or whatever but I still can’t find it in myself to feel anything but disgust towards a man who agrees to be with someone who was fresh out of highshool, (basically someone who was a literal child until like that year,) was probably almost 30 years younger than them, had obvious daddy and mental health issues, and was almost exactly like their own kid. The brother’s actions can kinda be explained due to his mental illness but that still doesn’t excuse them at all. The tragedy tag is definitely true to it’s name because it’s tragic that the father hasn’t been thrown in jail already ugh. Electric chair.

I love the two highschool couples and donghyun and the uncle too even with the age gap. I hate the dad and brother. I dunno why people here are sympathizing with the brother when he was selfish and weak...but if those didn't happen, our main couple might not have crossed paths at all, so I don't know anymore.
I hope people here do not glamorize the brother's mental issues....he seriously had so many issues that he didn't bother addressing. Fuckin BS how people are rooting for his happiness when he caused grief to everyone around him. Good thing seohyun was there to rescue.
Overall, i loved this manhwa though. It was written. I actually didn't expect that connection.
I’m super tired of the trope where the heroine ends up with the first guy she meets. It’s annoyingly predictable and boring to me at this point so I’ve been looking for some stories that don’t follow that format. Can anyone think of some where the heroine ends up with a different guy than who it seems like it’ll be at the beginning? Thanks!
