i don't like his behaviour either but in this case you gotta see that he is a doctor and if one of his patients is literally dying he gotta rush there even if the patient is a dog he is still a soul that should be saved

I thought he was an intern? Shizuma def doesn’t deserve all the hate but let’s not lie that he’s not annoying sometimes with his dense brain.

If he had been doing emergency work instead of spending half the day eating sweets with his boss, sure I would’ve ignored it.

I think Minato would understand that, he’s self aware of his own childish behavior which is a good thing. He realizes he’s insecure because of his trauma and not exactly because of Shizuma.

Not all Japanese workplaces are like this. Shizuma clearly has no problem standing up to the boss, we saw him call him out for insulting their relationship.

Anyway it's a commitment especially when you doing intership for things like a vet, doctor, vets, dental and stuff in the medical field. That's all I wanted to state. That why I said I'm interested in how Hinohara-sensei well execute her story. I tend to like characters like this since it hard for me to say no, myself (working on but it's a progress) been like since a child. In my case it has a lot to do with being the oldest (single parent) cause my younger siblings are the excalty opposite. Also, like the varies of different characters and their layers gives me inspiration.

I’ve seen the raws and to answer your question, they seem to be progressing well so far. And same with me, I have a hard time saying no but if I am in a relationship, I’ll try to say no if it interferes with my relationship especially in a situation where the boss is doing non-work related stuff and dragging me with them.

I’m the oldest son but my oldest sister gets more of the traditional responsibilities. I get it more easier. Although this will differ, this is the situation for me.
