i understood he's some kind of entity, maybe a reaper, who took pity on myungha and at the same time was interested in seeing what kinda choices he would make. i don't know if he would be just a reaper bc i guess he needs to be hella powerful to elaborate a whole new reality. maybe he's Death like in the kdrama "death's game".
