It’s a great story and art but I’m just really disappointed in the premise. Don’t get me wrong, I like it and will continue but....This is a bdsm story that has the most accurate protocol behavior I’ve seen represented...and yet they made the main uke not into pain AND has past trauma of bdsm abuse. So it makes it particularly awful to watch him participate in something that he doesn’t find enjoyable. Especially given there is a club full of people in this story who get pleasure and satisfaction from being masochist submissives. So the story ends up painting a picture of further abuse while also mixing in high bdsm etiquette and discussion, making it a contradiction to the practices it is already not following and gives sense to why it isn’t crazy for the Dom to not want to play with someone who does NOT find PLEASURE in pain. You don’t top someone who doesn’t enjoy it! The point of bdsm is that it is pleasurable for both parties, that both are participating in a mutual exchange of desires.
