GOD THIS STORY HAS NO SOUL and the art isn’t good enough to justify the shit characters.

i’m going to be so honest the MC is insufferable it’s just another case of writers for some reason making the bottom a girl w a dick, like no issue with that until you think about it and the writers probably a girl a fetishized idea of a gay relationship and has made a self insert character. Which just like make a straight smut or a GL.
Also the art is really amateur, it kinda looks like they showed their panels off and someone’s like “you got same face syndrome” and they went back and just redrew the faces on the same weird heads. The coloring is also just miserable to look at, like please learn what a color pallet is.
ALSO THIS COULD BE SO CUTE AS JUST A FATHER SON FOUND FAMILY like im genuinely grossed out by the idea of them being together romantically let alone sexually. Like the whole set up and back story of their relationship is very sweet and nurturing (also really flat and repetitive) like why.. why would u give us this cute mentor friendship and be like but what if the MC develops romantic feelings for his father figure and is super super innocent and immature, he also has no friends or connections with people around his age, and has lived pretty much isolated in the woods since the age of 7. This feels more Harada or Chise coded then a casual cute lil yaoi.
God and i’m going to say this again the story, the characters, and the world building have no depth soul or feeling to em. The author put zero effort into making an enjoyable story with well fleshed out characters, and it’s so evident. I would literally rather read another reverse harem isekai historical romance called “I was transmigrated into a novel as the villainess and the only way to survive is to make out with the hero’s mom ” for the 80th time cus his knows the genre is becoming so saturated.
BUT RHIS AUTHOR DOESNT EVEN HAVE AN EXCUSE?!? Like the martial arts universe in manhwa world has a pretty universal set of rules but like… it’s fucking karate and shit go beyond the other mediocre shit. I’m so frustrated with authors who take the time to write and draw and color and publish and advertise their work and they don’t put something out worth reading. As a manga artist i can see how webtoons fall under a different field, but this is so stupid.
Now READERS i get it there are certain niches you like and want to read more of, so you’re scraping the barrel here. Please have more respect for your time and eyes tbh and read better shit, it might not fit the normal themed you like but the arts amazing and the author has had some other well received comics, and just try it there are things to enjoy in those comics because they take soul. This flat ass bullshit makes me want to break their stylist with judging from the art style is probably a pencil w a bit of aluminum foil and a rubber band
