The fact that the seme can smell other omega’s pheromones and that blondie can smell the uke’s, why can’t the seme smell the uke’s pheromones during the ‘therapy’ sessions? Reread chapter 1 and he actually has a medical condition where he can’t sense omega pheromones at all. It’s somewhat of a psychological problem since he couldn’t bear the pressure his family put him under.
