I bought the remaining 20 chapters on webcomics and honestly I wish I never read the ending ╥﹏╥ It was wholesome because they kinda(?) profess their love. They both say that they love each other in the last chapter, and that even if they don't understand their sexualities they both feel love and want to remain together in the future.
But they spent like way too much of the final chaps giving Ian a love rival and making Justin and some other girl 'like' each other. Then the resolution was really rushed and the ending itself after that was even more rushed.
I wish this story never ended, and the fact that it ended without even a kiss or a canonized romantic relationship between Ian and Justin after all these years of reading this story kinda makes me sad tbh.
It's called queer platonic relationship ! It's something that can happen between aroace people. Maybe one of them is aro and not the other, and maybe they both are ACE. (We don't know exactly about their respective libido and need for sexual action, right ? It seems to me they could totally be asexual. But i haven't read the half of it.) You have read the totality of it, what do you think ?? Could they be aro ? Could they be asexual ?? It's possible to identify as hetero/bi , but aro. And greysexual or something. (Or asexual.)
People that are Aro don't feel the need for kissing, holding hands and stuff like pda. But they can still truly feel bonded to someone and want to somehow be their lifepartner. It's '' commited love-friendship for life ''

I wish it ended with a bit more closure. Idk I wanted to see their graduation ceremony and their actual love confessions, and for the story to end after they go on their winter trip. I feel like it cut off right at the climax and I wish we could've gotten more!!! T~T I still loved it though and it was a beautiful story!

This story is literally just the Yaoi gods breaking the 4th wall and entering into the story to give us the fanservice we all desired lol. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
I really feel terrible for the doctor, he was there during all the hard times of Xiao's illness but Xiao Shu just lost his will to live and it was so painful to see the doctor love somebody that wanted to die T.T
I do wish the story gave some more info about Beomjin's powers. They talked about how he was born of something from the underworld and his mum took the flower from the creepy lady to conceive him. But they never really elaborated on what it means to be a vessel or where his powers originate from. I hope the side stories (if there are any) will say something about it.
My HC is that maybe the flower Beomjin's mum took was the flower that never bloomed in the garden. So Beomjin is the unbloomed flowerbud soul and Yoonjae is King Dae-Byol's flower soul. Him and Yoonjae are soulmates which is why Baby Yoon always wanted to go back to the underworld in his past life. Now as humans, they are finally able to bloom together and be happy ♡
