You’re correct lol. Though there isn’t a manhwa of their story- there’s a novel that had the story of the white haired guy and his wife. Giulio was the 2nd lead in their story. This manhwa is giulio’s story as the main lead now. I don’t think the novel is translated though

I don’t actually know since I only heard from spoilers. I assume he is the same as he is now (part of the mafia) and he may have been a villain. I think he did genuinely love her, that’s why it already had been shown in this manhwa that he thought of her a couple times when he heard of a Korean woman. But it looks like he’s quickly falling for the FL now
