so i'm not even trying to shift realities but, i was having this very realistic dream and as i was walking in that dream it started feeling real and my vision was spinning for some reason. BUT i got scared and tried to wake up by moving but I couldn't and it feels as if my body was not concious. Now idk if it was shifting or I was just having a sleep paralysis. although i also wasn't able to open my eyes that easily either.
hi hello i am not a pro in this area BUT as far as i know, the normal thing is that when you're freaked out in your dream while knowing damn well that you're in a dream and try to wake up, you will wake up almost immediately. that's usually what happens to people who failed to shift, and me on a daily basis as well. but again, i'm not a pro so i'm not sure :)

im not100% sure abour ur experience but when we dream, our body is already in a state of paralysis to stop us from acting out our dream in real life, im sure you were just having a scary (lucid?) dream, got very shocked and woke up before ur body did, hence why u couldn't even open ur eyes. ive also had a scary dream like that aswell! u see, its possible, but shifting on ur first try is kinda hard! esp when u have no intention to. although if you are still weary, try and state that you are not trying to shift, and u want to stay in ur current reality next time u fall asleep.

It’s amazing! A few recommendations I would give us to make the sclera slightly grey and shade it darker at the edges to give the illusion of an sphere. Also, you can watch Proko’s videos about eye structure so you can understand better the planes of the eyelids and shade them accordingly!
