even though i read the manga first, i prefer the cdrama adaptation. hikaru and akira have a good rivalry, and i felt like the cdrama made it more interesting than it already was. not to mention, the ending of the cdrama is handled better than the one in the manga
i highly recommend checking it out if you're a fan of this manga. free on yt with full subtitles and is posted on the official iQiyi account. it adapts the three main characters pretty well, though some of the characters have changed. the story goes into different directions as well, and from what i remember the ending is different too. i guess i also recommend it if you felt disappointed by the manga's ending. also, i recommend it if you like akira's "pining" for touya's (or sai's, actually) go in the earlier arcs. qi hun definitely makes it more extreme to the point i'm just staring at yu liang (akira's counterpart) in shock.
