It could be MC corruption arc or MC ending up with the lesser obvious partner. Just anything out of the ordinary of the tropes and cliches of BL
(i mean please don't mention the plot twist, obviously. it's less enough surprise for me that i'll know that there'll be a plot twist but knowing the twist will just ultimately ruin it. thankyouu~)
