I think the potion had nothing to do with his feelings towards Loneal ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Im pretty sure it wasnt that good to be effective for so long or the effect was different than Loneal thought. Either way the potion probably only caused him to be honest with his desires and it wore off later on. When the potion wore off he knew that he already revealed his feelings for Loneal and thought that theres no need to pretend like nothing happened. He was clearly interested in the current Loneal from the beginning but didnt really show it. Maybe the potion caused him to be just more expressive (〜￣△￣)〜 Either way, I doubt it had the effect Loneal thinks it had, it probably wasnt a perfect potion in the first place.
But i do agree that he is very feminized and his constant crying is a bit... weird? ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Yea! I'm 50/50 on whether the potion worked in the beginning. It all depends on how Alec felt about Loneal beforehand (and I can't remember). If Alec didn't see him as a love interest at all then I believe the potion worked. If Alec was a little interested in Loneal in the beginning then maybe it worked to some extent. Though I 100% agree that the potion has to have definitely worn off by now
