Okay so-
I thought it would be funny to listen to Nightflower by Ahn Yeeun (piano cover version) using my earphone while reading chapter 46 but then turns out it was NOT funny, my dumbass cried. Idk why, I thought I was desensitized to Kim Dan's suffering but then the music just made me realize how miserable things are for him and how I still care for him despite him and everything being obviously fictional.

Idk bro like, can't he just be happy? Genuinely happy?? When will he finally be at peace?? I can't do this rn bro like he never asks for much ! He never asked for anything !!! Ever since he was little! Living with only his grandmother in that tiny rundown house, getting a piece of bread to celebrate his birthday(s), he was always happy!!! He was content!!! He never asked for anything more!!! Yet even that little peaceful life of his got forcefully taken away from him by whatever higher power that rules his universe ( I'm looking at you Mingwa.) He went through so much suffering to still hold on to that life, to protect it and even then he never complain. He never blamed anyone, if anything he thinks it's his fault. He thinks that there's something wrong with him. His heart STILL remains kind, despite EVERYTHING. His heart is still warm!!! I CAN'T. This part of him makes he seem naive, even stupid to others and yeah that's true, but THAT'S JUST THE KIND OF PERSON THAT HE IS ! It's the world that's cruel to him(*cough* Mingwa.) !!!!

I am so tired on his behalf like I actually care about him but I know the author is only gonna make it worse for him going forward. The only reason I'm keeping up is because I wanna see how he's doing, I don't give the slightest fuck about the nonexistent "romance" or the ML, if Dan being happy means Jaekyung has to die then someone better hand me over the car keys because I'm about to run this mf over
