Yeah, it's nothing confusing about this chapter/arc. Guren is just making sure to be careful, with Demon Mika because he's really the king. And Guren knew that demons are dangerous to them if they got possessed entirely. But Guren savior complex is just unpredictable that are predictable. Did you get what I mean? It's like he knew there's a danger await for them. but still he's go on the plan by manipulating Yuu or the Shinoa squad by capturing (not really saving him) Mika to turn into sword. So that Shikama Doji can't control Mika's soul again ig?
