i had a feeling her brother didnt turn out to be as nice as she remembered, but i still dont think murder was justified here. kairi couldve hauled his ass to jail or smth after hitting him in the head. its awful that masaki was a rapist but he shouldve rot in prison instead of getting killed the way he was. but then again i see why kairi lost his chill as his dad was also a rapist and he wasnt able to do anything in that situation so he overcompensated?
yknow, i went into this knowing it would be sad, and i really enjoyed it a lot, but for some reason i'm not sad. i think its bc he died while fulfilling his dreams and they were able to have a proper goodbye. its upsetting that he loved him, but he also chose to adventure in the world even while knowing that he wouldnt be with his lover, so that was a decision he made. ofc no one expects that theyll die, but i think it was a less painful ending than if he had died after falling off the roof. still, this is so good for smth thats only 3 chapters.
