I can't exactly spoil anything, as i havent read any spoilers myself, but i do highly doubt the original FL that's with her bro is gonna be any kind of bad guy or really all that important in this story at all.
i dunno whether her bro will be useless or not but i suspect he might be opposed to her relationship with Bel seeing as her bro is supposed to be the hero fighting against the demons...
