yaoi is like the focus between the two men’s sexual relationship, smut is the sexual content, doujinshi is a fanfic from an anime/manga and shounen ai focuses on the romantic relationship between men (=・ω・=)

Hmm! Lets see, for simple explanation, yaoi is boyxboy with shrex. A doujinshi is probably a pair of characters from an anime/manga. Smut.. idk but something that you found arousing? Shounen ai is just boy x boy. I apologize if you didnt understand (▰˘◡˘▰)

Doujinshis are basically mangas that are based on a show, book, etc; smut is essentially lemon, if you don’t know what that it, it’s sex a lot of it. Shounen so is fluffy bl that has no sex in it, and is generally really cute.

yaoi- boy x boy, could contain smut scene
smut- ya know adult stuff, 18+ sex...
doujinshi- fan made manga (not in the main story. because USUALLY doujinshi are 18stuff,, not all.)
shounen ai- boy x boy but only fluff no sex ^^

im sure its what it means hehe or if not i wanna be enlighten too ><

Oh and Yaoi is bl that has sex in it.. srry i forgot to include it.

Yaoi is BL that has a lot of smut (most of the time) while Shounen Ai is BL that just focuses on the relationship of the story more then smut some don't even have smut in it. A doujin is a fanfic or self published story, and smut it just intercourse scenes. (sorry if this didn't help lol)

Just want to correct everyone, a DOUJINSHI is a self-published manga. There are doujinshi that are original works. Think indie comics.
