Depends on what she needs. Sometimes just being there is enough. Listening when they want to rant, even if they're saying the same things over and over again, or even when they're not saying anything. If you can, offer to do small things and errands for her, invite her out to eat, or bring her some food and activities

it really depends on the reason of why they broke up. if it was a healthy one and their relationship wasn't so bad, help her learn how to be thankful of memories, and how to move on with a smile. and to find the beauty of it while it lasted.

oh and let her be upset and be sad first, don't say stuff like "don't be sad, don't cry." or "there's lots of other fishes in the sea." let her express her sadness! and just listening or letting her talk for hours will help too.

all of this depends on how i would want a friend to comfort me in this situation :))

what about person that can't forget her crush? this is similar to "my crush doesn't even know i exist" BUT THE CRUSH LITERALLY NOTICE HER. on top of that, strict parent... there are dark memory with parent about dating i understand her but what about me...? i know she will be there for me but idk somehow feel awkward? this really stressing me out
