How it went with the dad really pissed me off. That little thing at the end really cannot make up for all those years of shitty parenting. I wished the author didn't take such an easy shortcut. The dad got off wayyyy to easy.

There are films you can see through that are opaque on the opposite side. Think like a motorcycle visor or something or tinted windows
