Found some spoilers from ig and twitter, so please take them with a grain of salt, but I’m honestly disappointed that the webtoon is not following the novel, so posting them here to find people to share the pain （￣へ￣）
There were a lot of scenes that I wanted to see in the webtoon. Like the scene where Claude sets up a trap when Athy visits Lily to get Athy to stay in the palace. He sets a spell where every time magic is used in the palace, he gets hurt. I think this scene really shows his desperation to get her back even if he doesn’t remember her. After Athy stays, the two of them actually try to rebuild the relationship.
I also wanted to read the scene where Lucas fixes Claude by sticking a world tree branch on his head lol
And then Athy’s like “Why u tryna kill someone’s dad??!!”
Hahaha can u imagine the great Emperor Claude with a tree branch sticking out of his head???? Can you imagine how funny that would have been????
Also, apparently, Claude also regains some memories or dreams of the OG!Athanasia because he kept yelling her name and apologizing while he was unconcious (Not sure about this part, been a long time since i last read the spoilers). And then when he wakes up, Athy’s like “R u really my dad?” And then they hug *v*
Also not a fan of the fact that Athy managed to return to the palace just because Jennette suggested it. I liked that Claude seeked her out on his own in the novel so...
So like, the reunion in the webtoon felt a bit anticlimactic as compared to the novel ʅ（ーー）ʃ
Actually, the season 2 chapters and pacing seems a bit slow and draggy, or maybe that’s just me?

Maybe they chose to make Jennette help because they wanted people to stop hating her?

agree with things dragging on and especially about how Jeanette was the factor that brought Athy back rather than Claude himself. I feel like the author did that to make us dislike Jeanette less but she still rubs me the wrong way. as for Claude remembering og athy...i don't think that happened in the novel (but then again it has been revised multiple times so i may have missed out) but it would be awesome to get an apology and some reconciliation for the og timeline athy. reunion was anticlimactic! hoping for more action, emotion, and development in the next few chapters
