Okay probably some will hate me but as a yahwi stan I am liking the following scenes as I think that all the good stuff for yahwi stans will happen after bad things happen. IMO I really hate the trope of one eventually forgiving all the toxic behavior and sexual assault of the other for the sake of a happy ending.. some people deserve to be alone in the end and atone for their mistakes. Seungho... not the best example to compare yahwi to. He’s literally a serial rapist who’s manipulative and abusive. Just saying this as an adult who doesn’t know your age. Be careful what you support in these manhwas because it’s really easy to start blurring the lines between real life and what you find romantic in these fictional stories. Sexual assault doesn’t just vanish from the victims mind and body even if the assailant has “character development”. From a psychological standpoint what they feel isn’t love in the slightest. Love isn’t abusive like this. They feel possessive and entitled to an object. Don’t you see how both started to realize their “feelings” as soon as the other starts to pull away. It’s a manipulation and gaslighting tactic to get the other to stay even if they are subconsciously doing it. People like yahwi and seungho deserve life in prison. Just be careful when putting blinders on to their actions. There are real victims out there who go through this exact type of relationship and 1. Never get out or 2. Spend their lifetime trying to recover from the emotional/physical trauma.
It’s because these types of manhwas always tend to put a pretty bow on toxic behavior and assault via tragic backstory, character development, etc., and if you are young and impressionable it’s really easy to just glance over how disgusting of a person he actually is lol

Believing someone after facts are presented to you doesn’t make the violence manipulation and rape disappear. It just gives him a third grade level of real world comprehension. It’s so hard for me to continue to read these manhwas and see people in the comments glorifying abusers like this. It’s not a BL at all. It’s a tragedy. If nakyum ends up with him it’s even more disgusting and tragic. I really hope seungho does not get a happy ending. As someone who’s been through a violent relationship, there are going to be times where the abuser looks like they are making progress and development. Seungho learning the truth in NO way makes him a decent person. The same goes for yahwi. I really hope you don’t continue to support characters like this and put them on a pedestal but I can’t force you to change your mind
