No, at least not currently. All the mc seems to care about is getting his wish and saving someone he loves(I'm assuming his sister) back is in his world.

Yuuuh... You will really hate ugetsu if you won't pay attention to minor details. The author wrote it like a "spot the difference game" and if you don't compare both sides you won't see.
