Because they’re the same people that send Byeonduck death threats when she publicly asked them to stop uploading and thinks she’s “a classist bitch” for not making her work free which is why the refuse to stop uploading early. They also send harassment to people criticizing them, are outwardly racist in their discord, harassed a trans person on their discord, and are trying to raise 5K with the lie that they have permission to upload the authors work.

It is due to two things. Some people are angry due to that the uploader is doing it as soon as the chapter is up, which at the end it takes away some of that profit from the author and possibly a chance for the comic to be taken down from this site. The other thing I have read from the early comments is that someone Has created a go fund me page for the author but is a scam.

even if u laid out a ton of accusing things that they may have done, doesnt change the fact that u dont know these uploaders personally and all of these is from YOUR OWN perception, how about their side? Can u fully stand to ur claim that they really did those?
Nevertheless, Im not here to beef on anyone, all im saying is that these people r doin work for us to read for free and if ya got a prob with them then go read on the paid platform. No one's paying u to stay here. And really, we all tainted anyways since we read here so what u fighting for?

If literal screenshots and them outright admitting the person responsible for sending BD death threats and encouraging other members was a part of their fucking group I honestly don’t see how you could possibly in good conscious defend them. I’m glad Lezhin is finally taking legal action. I hope these people get sued first.

I’m literally looking at their Twitter where they asked Dear Door author Pluto to upload her work and she said no, but then they go onto raise money when they didn’t have her permission? So who the fuck is the money for if two of the authors they steal from have already publicly made it clear they don’t want reposts? Seriously dude this is COMMON SENSE. They also sent ME a death threat in this fucking forum for calling them out. They are KNOWN for harassing people like fucking children. Most people here may pirate but the at least have some sort of moral compass. These people do not.

Are u referring to EVERY SINGLE ONE, or do you think there are some up-loaders that don’t do that? Because I stand those that don’t , not the one that are human scum for doing such things. But on another note, I’m thankful to most KINDA that they do upload them(aside from all the harassment and extortion that they do) because just as much as I would love to support the authors, I could never because of no cash and I know about the coins but it’s too little for the many I read. It’s true tho all the hard work of the authors and their not getting paid, but I love all this manhwa sand I could never afford every chapter(mostly because parent would beat my ass for wasting money on “unnecessary things”

this is precisely how this group thinks. For them, since we are all on an illegal site, morals shouldn't come into play anywhere here. They think since you're on here, you should just be a criminal through and through and having any semblance of conscience would only mean you are a "hypocrite". My friend sent them an email and asked them nicely not to post immediately after the author so she could earn a little bit more. In turn she was bullied continously and called names by this group, calling her a "shameless virgin who complains about gay porn", "30 year old granny who enjoys yaoi", "hyprocrite saint", "classist", "peabrain", etc). And all this because she asked them to at least have some consideration to the author and wait for at least 3 days before posting. I dont think anybody on here is criticizing Toxic Scans for posting(THAT would be hypocrisy). Those who are outraged are just harping about them posting 2 or 3 hours after the author when the team should have at least waited because author earning a little bit more from mangago users who have means to buy official updates is totally not equal to her not earning anything from them/us at all.

The people that have been recently uploading are “Toxic Scans”. They are the same group called out by BD a few months ago. Before that, just random people were uploading and they at least had the decency to not upload an HOUR after the work was published.

I mean even tho I said I “stand” those some, I understand their cheating the authors out of their own money by uploading for people to read for free, I still know it’s wrong but what can I do I have no money.

Oh I meant like I don’t really like “stand” them, like I wouldn’t go so far as talking back to people who shoot them down, I’m just thankful that O can enjoy such a nice manhwa with an awesome story line. I just want ur honest opinion on my question.

I mean dude this is a luxury comic. Like...you don’t have to read it. It’s not a necessity. It’s a luxury. I get this is a pirate site but the “what can I do” argument for blatantly participating in theft of an artists work is kinda moot. You’re choosing to read a comic the author had set up behind a pay wall because this is her job. Don’t get me wrong, I pirated as a minor too but it was never like an “oh well” thing where I thought since the author didn’t make it free I was entitled to read it regardless.

There’s not a lot you can do when all the comics you choose to read are blatantly behind a pay wall. That’s kinda just a fact. You can use this site all you want, I don’t really care. I understand why pirate sites exist and I’ll gladly discuss with people that don’t pay here because I know most people don’t. But just letting you know that you might want to start saving stuff because on October 15th Lezhin and several other publishers have decided to band together to essentially purge their content from illegal sites and seeing as this site is so huge and well known, it’s only a matter of time.

Literally stop contradicting yourself... you say you "don't want beef" and here you are beefing. They're saying what they've heard and if you don't like it then sorry. Obviously something is happening and if the author who creates the contend is receiving death threats then it really should be a concern. It doesn't matter if you're reading for free or not its still Byeonduck's creation. As a reader, you really should at least keep this stuff in mind. Maybe it's not all or maybe its not any of the uploaders doing these things but its still happening. Be curious and question it instead of acting blind. Like you said people are tainted and they could be lying right to your face. Also I seriously hope you're not being serious about the whole "we all tainted anyways since we read here" because it's not against the law to read sexual content. People do this out of pleasure and if they enjoy it why are you making it sound shameful when you do the exact same thing. Please grow up.

Nah it’s alright! I’ve already gotten death threats from this scan group and people like the one who posted this comment seem to want to still defend them despite there being evidence, so I think it’s good that people look at the screenshots and whatnot. To draw their own conclusions.
