I am a huge fan of Shingeki no Kyojin but until now I've only been watching the anime instead of reading the manga and until now I'm still thinking to keep waiting for the animation release rather than catching up with the manga so please, please don't spoil anything for me. But I'd like to ask something, is the ongoing manga's storyline already far ahead of the current season 2 of the anime? I might consider reading the manga, but yeah--- xD #teamAnime

I have been super selective in reading doujinshis because I wanna avoid getting spoiler xD I was shocked when I accidentally heard my friends talk about Corporal Levi's last name... I don't wanna experience it anymore haha
The anime covers up to about 50 chapters, and right now there are 94 chapters.
However it doesn't feel like the later half of the series could fit in two seasons...
Try reading the first 40 chapters, and decide after that, because some people don't like the manga drawing and prefer the anime.
The story is going to get really a lot more complicated.
it's not that much ahead
and I don't think the second season will last for long since the gap is not that big
things will start to escalate really fast starting from the 12's episode
if u can't be patient, read the manga, it's REALLY worth reading

haha, my friend, i just did that! just finished season 2 and decided to read the manga from where it hung off. spent a few days binge reading it. and i also only got into the series because of DJS!
