I mean ya there are differences between them, but there are also other similarities in the storyline that the villainess becomes a love interest with the ml who's supped to kill her, and also the original fl has a crush on the reincarnated villainess
I wonder if you don't know that reincarnated villainess is a general theme for many manhwa, manga, and manhua?
So this one and katarina's story are not similar, they just have the same theme, because if you want to say these two is similar, actually there are many other stories that also similar
And for the record, ML didn't kill FL in the original novel, the one who killed FL is the prince (rael's ex-boyfriend)
The stories with ML who supposed to kill FL and end up become her love interest in reincarnated villainess theme are 'doctor elise', 'death is the only ending of the villainess', 'everything was a mistake', and i guess also 'survive as the hero's wife' and 'abandoned empress' (kinda forgot about these two if ML really killed FL or not), etc.
And the story with original heroine has a crush on villainess FL is 'beware of the villainess'... 'the villain's savior' is reincarnated theme too but not villainess, but it also has ML and original heroine's rivalry for FL's attention (original heroine is FL's sister and she's often jealous if FL is with ML, ML also got jealous and think the heroine is annoying)... i'm not sure about the others but in 'everything was a mistake' the heroine hates ML (they were a couple in the novel, but in current timeline heroine thinks ML is a bad guy and hates him), heroine loves villainess FL as a friend and repeatedly warns her that ML is bad because she's worried, in 'survive as the hero's wife' and 'i stole the male lead's first night', the original heroine becomes totally uninterested in ML and close with FL as friends
