two reasons i can think of. 1. chinese censorship - the things available to us could be bottom of the barrel and 2. translating chinese into english is really difficult so the sentence structure is all messed up and makes no sense

well there are some hidden gems out there, but sometimes they end up dropping them or the updates are very slow

There's a few I really like but for the most part they're hard for me to follow. It's probably my unfamiliarity with the names and tropes like cultivation etc. I just never get what's going on and can never remember their names.

They still have a very very long way to go and you're right that the stories can be generic and the art is really just meh. But there are really great ones that you might just haven't read yet. If you're interested, here are some really good ones in my opinion

Same i also don't read Manhua reason
1 - some times they make tooo much sad stories
2- I can't remember chiness names then I get confuse
3- plot is good but no sex but still if they make it shounen ai , they just started to make it like chibi and chibis parts and they lost phase of story

Hmm... not all of them. Come on, even KR and JP novels has their own “oop” sides but let’s appreciate them authors and their works. Read “Starting With A Lie” and “Here U Are” both chinese bls but a freakin masterpieces.

A lot of them are bad but I think its also cause theres prolly hella more people making manhuas than there are making manhwas or mangas.
