This series missed the chance to become an adoption manhwa. Like Elaine raising him as a big sister and telling him stories abt his mom wouldve been so cute. Instead the author tries to excuse the age gap between her and the baby she changed diapers for by making one stay in a coma for 20 yrs. Like thats weird, and couldve been executed differently.
Ugh If only she didnt get her heart ripped out and successfully dispelled Bella, those three couldve escaped to the woods until they could prove their innocence.
Plus i was hoping shed be a bit more open abt her past, like telling him stories rlly vaguely. Like stories Bella told her, Bella and her husbands love story, their kid but not saying its him. So that he could one day put the pieces together himself. Like i dont think its that serious of a secret.
That's not even the weirdest thing.... Where dis the demon go? He cared for the witch, but just disappeared... And he was so against Elaine being there but was fine with the crown prince? I mean her being with a crown prince would have been the most dangerous thing, come on... Also the story is just so rushed, it's like the story main character js supposed to be Elaine, but the focus is never on her, we don't have a single show of real human emotions, no despair over loosing everything, over being in a coma, over being in such a situation, she also shows no interest in understanding how the world is now after 20 years... It's such a mess of a story when it could have been good ...
Omg i was thinking abt that, like how come the price was able to get so close like was the demon not worried??? And abt her missing 20 years is a huge plot hole because the generational gap is huge like, wouldnt they be have a dif lingo from her to the point they think shes a boomer lol...
Also Elaine crying abt the death of Bella was not enough, like she went through such a traumatic event and her character is still the same??
Exactly, it makes no sense, the character is not realistic. Sometimes I think the authors haven't experienced the real world or something, because normally to be able to replicate certain emotions, you have to have felt them at a certain point, if the author never felt despair once in his or her life, then they won't be able to replicate in the story. Elaine should have been in despair. I'm not saying that she wouldn't go to him right way, she would, but not all cheerful like she went through nothing... And the way she found him was way too quick too. It makes me feel like the author had a specific idea of two characters as a couple and all the back story is just a forced way to try to make the envisioned story true without clearly thinking it through... It makes me think that it was done an amateur, because pro artists normally first make a sketch of the art and of the story, then they think it through, maybe talk about it with someone? Then you go to specifics and to do the art and start to add more and more characterisitcs to the characters and you start making up small details that don't really matter to the story, but they make the character more real and they think through their experiences and what they felt through everything, then you add detail to the art. At least it used to be like that, but now with so many manhwas and mangas being online, some people make stories without really thinking them through and just creating stuff on the spot and that rarelly ever works unless you are trully a master like Oda, and even Oda plans things though so much that he has kept one piece going for years and every little detail makes sense. It's quite disapointing to see stuff like that and then seeing stuff like this that had more holes then a cheese... (Only used one piece as example because it came to me xD, but there many good manhwas that are just as flawlessly thought through and drawn)
It's like if you ever did really good drawings you will know if you start by the head and put details right away, the probability of the rest of the body not having proportion is very big, thats why you first sketch the whole body, then you define a unique line that defines the drawing and make the image more clear and then you add details.
Something abt the pacing, angles, silence just adds so much tension to this story. Its my favorite part abt reading because i feel my world getting quiet along with it. It transports me into the word as if a book would yk?

At first i was like "why r they painting the brother as a villian, hes right." Cuz my lil sis is 11 and if i caught her talking to someone older than ME (an adult) id do everything in my power to make sure that adult never sees the light of day. Cuz suddenly my baby sis is "acting" mature, can drive, and do other grown up things, id 100% see this as a sign of grooming. Its weird and creepy for someone even more than 2 years older than her to even think abt manipulating her like that. Like dude age isnt just a number, its a stage of life that is delicate depending on how old u are. And then for my sister to say its LOVE??? At her age, i was breaking up with ppl just because their hands were sweaty. Kids dont understand love properly until maybe highschool, even i dont fully understand it as an adult. So i could understand why hed be furious over his brothers sudden change in behavior.
But then they had to make him into a bro-con , like i guess i can see that he just likes having something in his control but still. Like he was acting like this even when they were both adults. So that outrules him being overprotective, hes just overly controlling.
I think the author is also at fault, couldnt they have made the boy go back even 5 years so hes not a fucking toddler LMAOOO! Idk waiting 7 yrs just to get together is fucking weirdddddd. I might continue reading not for the romance, but bcuz i want to see how tf the author is gonna fix this problem lol.
