This lines of Rio, makes me feel like he still has feelings for Kido. And in the whole series, it felt more like Rio is more into Kido than to Kuzumi. Idk, I just felt that Rio is relying more to Kido than to Kuzumi. I get that they known each other longer but still I felt complicated with his relationship to Kido.
I kinda thought of this too but maybe he’s moved on with Kudo. It’s just that he isn’t that very confident in conveying his feeling to Kuzumi but I’m pretty sure he’s doing his best. Kinda sad bc they seem to have lingering feelings deep down— hidden. idk i’m just happy that they’re happy now :3
I don't think he meant in a romantic sense while he is in love with Kuzumi, but it definitely is before Kuzumi showed up. And now it's more of a confidant that he can't let go because he has very few people to hang on to.
I see, maybe I am just not that use in this type of relationship. It's kinda complicated for me, and also, most of the manga I've been reading recently are much more expressive and cuddly to their partners, that is why I thought Rio still has a lingering feelings for Kudo. Thanks everyone ^_^
Rio has moved on but Kido hasn't. He still has regrets deep down. Understandably so because the connection he felt with Rio was nothing he ever felt. It's in the prequel series mood indigo.
The way he phrased it is what feels weird to me. As if only Kido matters, as if only Kido was there, nothing else would matter. I guess I feel more uneasy as I read the prequel. It feels like he is hung over Kido.
I get what you're saying. He pretty much meant that he could've went and changed editors. After all there were offers from other companies, yet he chose to stay with Kido. But the years that went on with Kuzumi was incredible so I trust he loves Kuzumi at that point already. Kido just happen to be someone he couldn't let go anymore. But I guess the author meant it to be vague or translation differences.
Same, this is what I'm also thinking. And the prequel just kinda make it more sense. Idk it's just so ambiguous how he phrase it like it has double meaning.
holding onto someone doesnt mean romantically, he means he wants kido to stay in his life, obviously that doesnt mean wanting them to be lovers again. maintaining friendships is effort, esp in adulthood. he doesnt want kido to fade out of his life completely but also he said this before running into haruhiko again and the entirety of zoku is about rio finally putting his whole heart and effort into his relationship with haruhiko. ur taking his vague statement about holding onto a person way too literally as being about romance when his actual love confessions have been to a diff man. its not like he's being vague to both. he's been very clear by the end of zoku. but kido is still in his life because thats a thing that can happen and doesnt invalidate rio's love or relationship with haruhiko. like u can have an important relationships with more than one person at a time and not all important relationships are romance and not all love is based in romantic/erotic feelings. (human emotions are complicated, i wish yall would allow ur love stories to have some nuance and depth.) also Kido is in the same industry as Rio and works as his editor. Haruhiko has an entirely diff profession he's doing and works away from home. it makes sense that sometimes Rio will be doing more stuff with Kido but like, the dude has a family and he's the one with the most lingering regrets not Rio. (but also peopel can have nostalgic feelings over a first love or past relationship but it doesnt mean their current one is now invalid if that happens? like cmon now, these are grownups here)

I'm not saying that Seth's murdering humans and such is justifiable but what about Osiris. I mean that mf violated Seth and even blackmail him. Not only that, the mf is even trying to use Anubis. While Seth is being punished and violated over and over, the mf Osiris is living his life in the underworld. I just felt sympathy towards Seth, he did a lot of evil deeds but he was not originally like that. I'm not saying it's justifiable to kill someone if you if experience those things but I'm so f*cking stress and frustrated because why does Osiris the mf is not getting any punishment at all. Fudge I really don't like what happened to Seth.
Yeah.... You are right they should punish Osiris too, if only they new what Osiris had done to Seth......
They knew, I think God of Sun Ra knows it. Also Isis knew it when Seth and her had a confrontation with each other. She made Seth confessed and she knows that Osiris desire Seth more than anything. But instead of getting revenge to Osiris directly, she's blaming Seth for all of it. Which is why I'm so f*cking annoyed with her too.
Yes, same.... I thought they all will know the truth and will punish Osiris but it turned out something else....
I didn’t get that reading at all about Isis. From what I understand, she cursed every single one of her siblings including herself, because she couldn’t stop loving Osiris in spite of everything.
Her anger with Set was how she was treated after he became king and how cruel he also treated the humans whom she loved.
Yeah I got that feeling too but I forgot what chapter it is when Isis and Seth had a confrontation but I feel like she disregard the fact that Seth was violated by Osiris. It's not like I hate her, it's just that I'm kinda pissed on her. I don't like how they disregard the violation of Osiris to Seth.
