I know that the ending might be a happy Ending but for some reason that tragedy angst just really bothers me. What if, hypothetically speaking Bakugou waking up in the hospital is just him being in coma and dreaming of the wish he really wanted. I mean i know if i'm just being paranoid but for his last monologue doesn't just sit well to me like its some kind that can be interpreted differently. What if Deku really did die and he was just hallucinating to a parallel world that he is alive and is attending UA with him in the end. well i kinda know where the hate towards ryu is coming from but tbh, i'm really satisfied on the 3 years separation they have.
1st and foremost it's because it made Asuka realize how much she love her job and nade her grow more independently and i love her for that.
second ot's not that ryu is prolonging his marital issue for 3 years but rather he is waiting for Asuka as well. they both grow as a person in these separation and ryu is also not a perfect man we see in some anime. he is a flesh character that has some flows and i know a lot of men who are not bad doesn't want marriage but in the end settle down after finding the right women for them :)

no really, we're at the 94th chapter when i'm writing this. if you dislike the story so much then why are you still here? idk why ppl would describe the story as girly or cringe, I found the writing very mature for a shojo. Each character reflect sincerely on their behavior and their mistakes when pointed out by their friends. while it is true that life isn't as hopeful, this manga focus on the journey not how a situation end. If I wanted to read a depressing story that depict realistically how life is I'd read Germinal from Zola and cry in my pillow after.
