So i found something interesting when i reread this manhwa. Remember the place where Jooin and Cain first encounter? When i pay attention to it again, i feel like i kinda know that place in some K-drama scene. Then i did a little research to find the place. And it turns out, that place is really exist in South Korea.
It named, Gyeongbokgung Palace. The first regal castle of the Joseon Dynasty and currently houses the National Palace Museum and the National Folk Museum of Korea. You can see that place picture in this link below and compared it with the artist illustration in chapter 11-12. Or you can search it on google too, using Gyeongbokgung Palace tags.

And then a question pop up in my head, why the author choose that place as their first meeting place? Like there's nowhere else. They may meet in parks, train stations, airports, bookstores, or coffee shops. Or it could be a place where soulmates in every romance-drama story always meet, on the streets with scenes of bump into each other first and then stare at each other. Classic meeting. I know everything happen for a reason. So what the reason do you think about guys?
The only answer that i could guess is, if Cain reicarnation thing is real. Then, maybe the author (or the artist tho) wants to show to us reader, a foreshading about when was the actual time Jooin and Cain met in the past. If that thing is true, than yes, they meet in the Joseon Era.
I can't be sure for sure now, what Cain would have looked like in the past. "Again" if that reincarnation thing is real. Until i see his true intention in manhwa then i can guess it for sure. But, i do have a theory about this, based on his behaviour in recent raw. Well, just "maybe" that in the past live, he was a butler who serve Jooin as his master and kinda have a dog trait. It will answer, all of his action toward Jooin that seem he wants him to live happy, respect and care for him, can cook delicious food :v, and become angry and shady when seeing Jooin hurt. Believe it or not, that was how almost every butlers do to their masters in not just BL but every Romance history. Tbh, i find it cute and interesting somehow when i think about this.(≧∀≦)

i believe this because this author tends to write about fictional things like in their last manhwa (a guy like you) they did the magic stone and stuff so i think you may be righttttt

Yeah im sure that author never show about supernatural power like reincarnation in this manhwa till now, and thats why i say that this theory can be wrong at any time.. Though "the reincarnation" thing was just cain statement to jooin in ch. 12. Nothing more other than that. Well, i believe that your question will be answered in cain backstory (๑•ㅂ•)و✧

ohhh i totaly forget about that manhwa, but i remember the supernatural thing already exist at the beginning of the story.. Unlike yours to claim :(( that still keep remain mystery till now. I want to believe that author will include it soon in this manhwa too.
