Give time for Gyeong Joon and Cain to build a relationship, guys. They become such adorable dumb couple. Gyeong Joon has Cain wrapped around his fingers. It’s also hilarious and cute how the great and powerful demon king is so weak to and gets easily flustered by his “door”. Cain turns out to be a real cutie so I think a lot of you will start abandoning the other ship as the story progresses.

But, that doesn’t mean I ship Sid and the best friend. Jin Yeong needs to be far from that slimy bastard as possible. I feel so bad for Jin Yeong . The situation he is put through breaks my heart....╥﹏╥

Am I the only one who find the corrupted chief inspector really cute? Lol He seems so tame because the other characters are all so crazy (and yeh I include the doctor in there too becuz he crazy for willingly following around a serial killer to a seclude place while being aware that he is a serial killer LOL To me, he is craziest of them all)
And damn Clark is playing that psychopath like a fiddle lol I guess the psychopath cannot beat the cool headed high functioning sociopath when it comes to mind games LOL

The chapter 3 story was very meh.
I like it when the seme lightly teases the uke but only to an extent it doesn’t become downright mean. It’s such a mood killer when the seme keep asking the uke to get a plastic surgery

contains SPOILERS (including who Hanyul ends up with)

Here are some of my thoughts without revealing everything:

Yuda is such a bae and a sweetheart. Best husbando. Best friend anyone can ask for. I would totally marry him and I would die for him.

Pan and Rabo are such dads LOL

It is hilarious how the band mates wants to become a second lover or treated as dildo by Hanyul LOL

Harold is unredeemable and he feels no remorse about what he did to Hanyul’s friend till the end. He got off easy compared to the weight of his crimes though. But, he got a fitting ending and I am glad the author stuck to keeping him the bad guy.

I really love how Won changes due to his love for Hanyul. I think the last quarter shows how he is different from Harold. At a glance, he is also very greedy, selfish, manipulative, and possessive psycho and seem to be cut from same cookie cutter as Harold, but what makes him different to Harold is that in the end, he puts Hanyul above his greed, selfishness and possessiveness. Author showed this difference really well in last couple of chapters. I thought his relationship with Hanyul will become toxic as hell, but I was wrong. He is incapable of hurting Hanyul. He is like sketchy Mob boss version of Daddy long legs (lol) and always gives what Hanyul needs: protection, purpose, family (yeah I talking about the dads lol), means to achieve a dream, reassurance and unconditional love. (Omg writing this down makes me realize Won did so much for Hanyul) And, Hanyul loves him uncondtionally back in return. They are perfect for each other. I am glad Hanyul ended up with someone who loves and treasures him the most.

Biggest surprise for me was how sweet and healthy Won/Hanyul turned out. Seriously, you guys are in for a treat. It’s interesting because of how easily they could have turned out like Harold/Hanyul if Won made wrong choices or how they are what Harold/Hanyul could have been if Harold didn’t do sth so horrible. Won is a proof that no matter what kind of background story Harold have, it doesn’t give any excuse for what Harold did. I think the author was a genius to have Won and Harold similar personality and nature but make different choices on how they pursue Hanyul and getting different result due to them. The story started out interesting at best but the story ended on a very strong note.

Also, to those of you wondering, Hanyul’s friend does wake up, but we don’t get to see it. Author’s note says he wakes up 3 months after the ending. He is traumatized by what happened, but he overcomes with the help of Hanyul. He becomes a composer under the guidance of Won and compose some songs in Hanyul’s album.

I LOVED Weon from the beginning. He's the best person to go up against someone like Harold. And rather than getting rid of people who are close to Hanyul like Harold does he hurts people who hurt Hanyul.

You gonna love him more by the end!!! I sure did! We get to learn more of his backstory and what is on his mind. Harold never stood a chance tbh LOL Lee Won is living proof of all the wrong choices made by Harold and how he fucked up hard that made him lose Hanyul. It’s interesting because Won and Harold are very similar but they made different choices when it came to how they pursue.

They're kinda like reflections in a dark mirror to each other wouldn't you say? Weon is that guy who messes up the common theme that the only way 'crazy' people can keep hold of the ones they supposedly love is if they break them and make them wholly dependent on themselves.

Definitely! Won try (to be accurate “tried”) to make Hanyul his by giving him an incentive (revenge) & people to love so he can threaten him using them when he tries to leave. Harold wants to be the only one in Hanyul’s world so he can rely on him and him only (Hence, removing important person from Hanyul). They are both manipulative and possessive but of different nature. The biggest difference in the end though is Won’s love puts Hanyul first and he never will do anything that will hurt him just to satisfy his want.Harold’s love puts his desire before Hanyul’s well being.

Ha, my guess was right. Hanyul friend did not died. Also, about Harold I think he did bad thing, but it is strange how he help Hanyul friend by putting him in a hospital in coma instead of killing him. (︶︿︶)

He did it so he can use the friend as an insurance and a tool to make Hanyul his. He didn’t “help” him... He is the reason the friend is in a coma in the first place

That was already shown in an earlier chapter, though? He wasn't 'helping' his friend. He was pretty much betting on the friend's life. If Hanyul forgets him he can live, if he remembers, he dies. T.

Exactly. Weon would use the people Hanyul loves to tie them closer together while Harold would try to sever those ties.

Uematsu-san handled the situation like a real responsible adult as the (much) older one. Putting everything out on open and letting the younger know what he is getting into before they start anything. That’s so rare in BL stories lol I think the author portrayed the relationship with a big age gap really well. Uematsu is so relaxed because he has so much experience and had been married with kids before. Asahikawa, on the other hand, becomes restless and nervous easily because he’s so young and inexperienced. The dynamic is so cute lol

CONTAINS SPOILER

Just finished reading the raws. I first continue reading this because of how absurd the whole situation is and the characters are (I mean only thing that made sense and was a logical human being was Jiwon who deserves a best friend award btw LOL) Then I read to hope to see Hoshik dump possessive sungyeon. Then, when hoyeon was in the picture, I fell in love with the family and started liking Sungyeon. In the end, I ended up enjoying the story. Sungyeon is a jerk but he IS Hoshik’s lovesick fool of a jerk hahahaha. He became more bearable too as he mild down a bit as story progresses. Also, their tragic past life made me re-evaluate their relationship. Ughhh the fact that it was shown at the very end after seeing them all lovey dovey happy before....I dunno made a bigger emotional impact T.T

To those of you who are curious here’s the spoiler y’all
.
.
.
.
.

So in their past lives Ho-shik was Sungyeon’s servant. Past life Sungyeon, like his present self, was crazy in love with Ho-Shik. Sung-Yeon was forced to marry the princess of the country because the princess happen to fall in love with Sung-Yeon at the first sight. Nights before the marriage, SungYeon tells Hoshik that he won’t marry her when Hoshik tells him not to, but Hoshik, oblivious of his feelings and the time, doesn’t understand the meaning behind Sungyeon’s words and brush him off by saying Sungyeon doesn’t need the opinion of lowly servant like him. Sungyeon ends up marrying the princess but even after the marriage, he refuses to sleep with her. This causes his mother to ask Hoshik, since he is the only one Sungyeon listen to, to convince Sungyeon to bed his wife to make an heir. A good boy (or a kind fool) Hoshik is, he does as he is asked. Sungyeon is wrecked by hearing his loved one asking him to bed someone else. Drama ensues, but ultimately Sungyeon listens to Hoshik and tells him that he will do as Hoshik wishes and begs him to never push him away again. And there’s a really heart breaking scene where Hoshik is crying in the snow while he burns wood to keep the room warm as Sungyeon has sex with his wife T.T And tada Yeon is born! 3 years later, Hoshik’s health is starting to deteriorate and Hoshik realizes that he is getting the same sickness that stole his mother’s life. Sungyeon needs to leave the town for days for I dunno the noble duty stuff and he hesitate to do so saying he weirdly doesn’t want to leave Hoshik that day. Hoshik, cinnamon roll he is, cheerfully soothes Sungyeon’s worries and sends him off. Hoshik stares after Sungyeon for a long time with tearly eyes and comments that weirdly that day, Sungyeon feels so far away. Gahhh this scene was so sad TT.TT When Sungyeon returns from his trip, Hoshik is on his deathbed. He only makes it to hear Hoshik admittng his love to him for the first time before Hoshik dies *sob* Then we return back to the present day where Sungyeon is watching Hoshik giggle with Soyeon and Hoyeon. Gahhhhhh Their happiness means so much more after we learn about their previous life. Does Sungyeon remember his past life? I don’t think so. I think he just instinctively knows he cannot lose Hoshik this time and knows that he needs to hold on to him no matter what in this precious second chance he is given.

I want more Sungryul and Edric. I really love their dynamic and they are my favorite couple. But, there is just not enough about them! I kind of hope we get a spin off for them. I mean they have been a couple for centuries!! There's so much history between them for us to uncover.

For those of you who don’t know Kim Gun Mo’s song, Wrongful encounter, it is a classic and iconic korean song about a guy regretting introducing his girlfriend to his friend because they end up hooking up behind his back xD.

Thank you because I had no idea. I think the joke falls flat for people like me who dont know the song.

The song is quite hilarious (even though I don’t think it is meant to be) lol it’s really upbeat song but the lyric is like ‘I trusted you and I trusted my friend so I introduced you to my friend~~~ I ended up having to throw away both love and friendship ~~~’ It’s used a lot in comedic scenes in Korean contents.

Since the first volume is about Qaltaqa learning about Ryouichiro’s country, it makes sense hat volume 2 is about Ryouichiro learning Qaltaqa’s.
