It does even if the guy seems like such a jackass. But daichi only deserves the best.

Story wise the newly introduced yakuza is the only one makes me actually curious about how his relationship is and will be like with Daichi. None other interests me as the candidate for Daichi. The other characters are weak and bland in terms of characteristic for me. Daichi is a well fleshed out and interesting character himself and I want someone for him that can match him.

I prefer Otto.

Nothing wrong with the yakuza dude but so far he hasn’t done much either.

I agree. If the yakuza guy turns out to actually not be an asshole and treats daichi appropriately then I'll like him lol.

Me too, he really deserves it. I ship him with Otto, he seems kind and really like Daichi(▰˘◡˘▰) while Yakuza boss looks like another handsome bastard just using Daichi for his bj skills and getting high on superiority from making the proud daichi submit to him(╬￣皿￣)凸 I know Daichi is far form weak and yakuza are supposed to be these tough gangsters but even if he does like Daichi verbally humiliating him (compering him to woman etc), letting his subordinates call daichi a slut, jokingly threatening him with destroying his bar and so on are simply not actions I can forgive. After everything he's being trough and still doing his best even now he deserves the best guy who will make sure he is happy(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

Agreed. However, I do believe that he can be redeemed if he cleans up his act and actually treats Daichi with respect and shows him genuine love and affection.

At the end of the day all it maters is daichi's happiness. as long as he is happy, I am happy(about this manga). But it better be one hella good reason or redemption arc for yakuza if he ends up with him because I still think Otto is better（￣へ￣）oh well, we have no power here all we can do is wait for the updates and hope for the best(≧∀≦) it was nice chatting with you, have a nice day and stay safe (with all the corona around)ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

That's what makes him interesting because there is so much room for growth and change. I prefer a story that has ups and downs rather than a story that is just happy and flat from beginning to end. Eh, I do not mind Otto but he is too bland as a character and I feel like he does not really offer anything interesting story wise on the table. I do care for Daichi's happy ending, but I actually would like to see some conflict to get to that point.

I 100% agree but i often read comments and i have come to realise that it seems the majority would prefer the yakuza type rather than Otto type.

For smut materiel, i couldn’t care less. But for romance materiel, i can’t understand how the majority will fantasize about semes acting coldly, as if thats a life goal to be treated like that.

Back to school and Walk on water are the best example. (In these ones, the 2nd male lead were overall trash and the readers were pretty much begging for more of them.)

True. Never understood the appeal of people treating their partners like trash. It's so toxic and plain messed up in my opinion.

I totally agree with both you and CTHunter.it is always really nice to find like minded people(づ￣ ³￣)づ I get that different people have different tastes (and there is nothing wrong with that), heck even I have a moment every blue moon when I can get into that kind of twisted manga (99,99% I prefer the lovely dovely happy ending kind, I know, I am a sucker for romance) but it is still unsetting that most people prefer that kind of cold toxic partners over gentle loving ones(⊙…⊙ ) one may argue that it is different in fiction and reality, you can like that stuff in manga even though you would hate them irl but still it has to overlap at least a bit, doesn't it?!(￣∇￣") I guess some people think cold/toxic guys the "bad boy" type and are attractive to think kind of crap. I just hate when they pick obviously bad partners (that you can see from a mile away all the warring sighs), maybe likeing them because of their "bad boy charm" or thinking they can change them (no you can't and it's unfair to expect that of them) and then they come crying to me why aren't they more loving etc and how they envy me that my bf is. Agh, use your eyes and brain for a sec before committing to that kind of relationship and then don't be shocked if you can't get it both ways - toxic and loving don't go together!!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧ sorry for my rent my bff is exactly the type to do that (with all her exes being liek that) and I guess I have some pent up frustrations(￣∇￣")

Yea just as you said, theres nothing wrong with liking the bastard type. But it’s hard to understand why their taste go for someome that treats them like a lower person.

Of course it’s manga, not real life, but if a jerk in a manga makes you wet, it should somewhat overlap in real life.

I do think though that acting like a jerk ONLY in bed scenes, as some kind of role play, can be sexy. But i don’t find it attractive when it looks like the seme treats the uke as someone lower than him.

Also, i prefer men that makes it obvious they like the other person. Rather than a proud bad guy that will act indiffrent all the time and once a year will show a glimpse of kindness.

Yes! I'm all about genuineness when it comes to relationships. What's the point of hiding your true feelings and acting like a tsundere type? I guess some people have trouble conveying love in an honest and straightforward way so to each their own. But I could never. Also never understood the need to act cool or cold to one's partner or potential partner to come off as more alluring. I'd kick that person to the curb. Hug me and tell me you like me ahahahah I'm a sucker for that kind affection (≧∀≦)

If I love or even just care for somebody (friend) then I need to show that to tham or tell them so they know how much they mean to me. And of course becase they feel that they respond the same or similar way. We all like to know we are loved by people we love, it makes us happy. And by showing our affection we make each other happy and that is the best feeling(▰˘◡˘▰) people who take love and give nothing back except pain and suffering are the worst (╬￣皿￣)凸 life is way better without them so I make un effort to keep them out of my lifeヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
