well.. one sided love sucks yet you can't force somebody to like you back. And staying at his side was his own choice, he could have moved along yet he tortured himself so I get your point but I am not sorry for him
i wouldn't exactly say "victim" is the right word choice lol, but i get what you're saying. jihwa and seungho probably had similar experiences due to their "disease" being caught at a young age, which in turn made jihwa grow overly dependent on seungho as they aged. before all this with nakyum and the orgies seungho participates in and whatever, they only had each other. so jihwa always felt like seungho would prefer him over anybody else. but too much pride and cowardice caused him to watch the man he loved slip away and love somebody else instead.
(should he have listened to min about organizing an assassination though? no, definitely not. but it doesn't really seem like he'll go through with that plan either imo. he's easily manipulated and is even considered the laughing stock of the nobles.
i personally like jihwa, bc as a character, he interests me.)

This. Straight women contribute massively to homophobia in the society. We are some of the biggest bullies online and in real life when it comes to queer people. We uphold homophobia as a way to perform for patriarchy and toxic masculinity so that we can keep our place at the men's side. You don't get to insult or get angry at the ways in which gay men choose to survive the brutal world that would otherwise mean death. And it's not just an imagined scenario. Queer people die when outed in homophobic societies. So let's keep the judgment and get off the delusional high horses ladies.

Yeah, but it's hard to be gay and it's hard to be cheated on as well. His mom tried break them apart, but he has no right, no right at all to cheat on his BF. That's his choice. And how about the woman ? Isn't that hard for her as well ? It was just getting good but now it's the end of the 1st season. I was wondering if y'all know that if the 1st chap of season 2 is going to be the same as waiting for the next chapter. Or is it gonna take way longer than that since season 1 has ended?
i saw somewhere on tt that it’s gonna take 3/4 months for the new chapter to come out after the season 1 finale. not sure if that’s true so maybe we’ll see if there’s an authors note for the season finale explaining everything
