I honestly get how you feel like I really feel sad for the late empress and imagine you even by a slight chance that the brother didn’t accept the new empress and the sister what would the reaction of the emperor be cause I am pretty sure if that was the case he would be a really shitty father to him. I mean the favouritism is so obvious.

Yes I completely agree it really did seem like he didn’t love the first empress and also saying that “sorry I couldn’t visit you because because of how much work I had” like bro what a sorry excuse like how could you even say that to your child when he needed u the most and if he wanted too he would have made time for him but he chose not to do yeah that was a jerk move.
