So you want them to suffer for hours to make a manga just so teenagers can read if for free and no profit for them Japanese authors don’t do it because most of them make mangas for fun Korean authors actually use this as a means of livelihood
i THINK it's because japanese mangakas publish their books in both physical and ebooks whereas manhwa creators don't have/do that, so they don't get income from people buying their physical copies. IMO physical copies are better than ebooks so i can see that some people may be buying physical copies rather than ebooks.
