the ML is absolutely shit and they let him get away with kidnapping, molesting, THREATNING OF A RAPE, and more just because he's the male lead and "hE LoVES ThE FemALE LEaD" this shit is absolutely not okay :/ the 1st chapter was so good but it went downhill so damn fast. We really shouldn't romanticize this kind of behavior because people shouldn't think it's okay behavior for your lover to treat u that way in a relationship when they really shouldn't. it's not okay and very much less romantic
yeah I read a bit of the novel a while back (I'm not even gonna try to read the manga version) and it was just as bad. I fucking hate the ML if he wanted to be with her he should a) take into account that she has literally no interest in the throne and b) just. not be like this. If he loves her so much he should have at least fucking courted her before throwing her into the relationship and the stupid training that she clearly hates???? The series is just very depressing.
