Addressing the gender mix-up issue, I suspect it might be a result of a mistranslation or a translator's oversight (although I am immensely grateful for their hard work—thank you, translators! T^T). As I recall from reading the manhwa, Yeonwhi's gender always seemed to be in flux, and in Tsegtseg's case, she revealed that people consistently perceived her as a boy.
