Most of the story, I remember in the earlier chapters Kirishima shared his past to Yoshino he's like a prosti, then there's this flashback of his life as a kid, their relationship status, who's the real enemy and everything else.
I feel like because the time in between updates are kinda long so I just read the recent chapter as it is then can't connect the previous chaps to the recent ones. If tgat makes sense.
Best suggestion is for you to read it over because even I don’t recall the details. Basically her grandfather arranged her marriage to Kirishima as a way to keep her protected after what happened to her parents. In the midst of all that, you have the underlying power struggle of all the yakuza wars. She and Kirishima are normally supposed to stay away from that but ultimately always get involved. I personally plan to read it over just so I can understand those dynamics better. The large breaks between each released chapters certainly don’t make this easy
