Idk exactly what type of recs I'm looking for so I'll just list some things I like about this. it's alright if your rec only has one or a few of what I'm listing:
1. A seme who chooses to be a silly goofy guy but is actually intimidating.
2. A seme who is strong but tries his best to be gentle
3. Perfectionist uke with a mask
4. Rivals (laced with sexual tension) to lovers
5. you can feel their tension, attraction and chemistry through every interaction, even when theyre just acquaintances (like this seme's interest in the uke starting all the way back to that first drinking get-tgt)
6. Uke tries to do difficult things on his own but in the end learns he can trust his friends to protect him
7. Likeable secondary characters (like the chairman's daughter, the coffee guy, uke's work team, even the stalker grew on me)

GxB, GL, BL, doesn't matter, you can just say what type it is when you rec~
I'm looking for novels (or manhwas) where mc has family that is neglectful/abusive, or believes antagonist' lies over mc, then regrets or is torn up by guilt when it's too late (or maybe it isn't too late and they slowly build back trust and respect). They're initially prideful and rarely give mc the benefit of the doubt due to habit, and their negative perception slowly start being chipped away when they realise the extent of their prejudice/lack of empathy.

This type of story would most likely be Second Chance, Transmigration or Reincarnation something, but as long as it's neglectful family deeply regrets and grovels, then I'm all ears!

Any recs where a male MC reincarnates as the villain like Trash of the Count's Family https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/trash_of_the_count_s_family/ , and is also fantasy/magic action packed? No BL unless the MC is active in the fight scenes and are really cool.

In a lot of cases when a female MC reincarnates as the villain, they tend to become a passive saint. So I'm hoping to see MCs who have at least 1 or 2 of the following traits: confident, smart (maybe even calculating), intimidating, rough exterior with a golden heart (bonus if those who really care can see it) and especially really cool to watch in a fight. Mainly shoujo or bl xianxia/wuxia recs, as they tend to have a kind of slow build/slow pacing/semi-slice of life feel to it, but if there's a shounen xianxia/wuxia rec that's NOT just about getting overpowered and building a harem, then feel free to rec too!

MC gets reincarnated as the villainess in a romance novel (typical so far) stays away from the role of the villainess and instead helps the heroine, only to be rewarded by the heroine and MC's fiance wanting to be together, despite that theyre talks of the heroine being engaged to the crown prince. The crown prince asks MC what to do(?) And mc, enraged by the entire situation, suggest herself having an affair with the crown prince to get back at heroine and MC's fiance. The prince doesnt reply, she panics. MC is also an informant of sorts (with a mask) and the crown prince goes to the informant for advice (?), and uses his powers to make her forget it.

I feel like this request is either too niche or too common but here goes.

Basically ML, for whatever reason (denial of feelings, or just not taking the conversation srsly enough to be truthful or somn), says something that hurts the MC's feelings because he didn’t think MC wldve been listening. MC begins to second guess their relationship, his feelings, self-worth etc, and starts to act distanced. But the resolution is satisfying. In the mood for angst, hurt/comfort.

I was reading https://www.mangago.me/read-manga/my_cutie_pie_an_ordinary_boy_and_his_gorgeous_childhood_friend_official/ and apparently from the comments **** SPOILERS **** ML and ML's friends talking shit behind MC's back was brushed off, even though we spent ~3 chapters seeing MC's sense of self chip away and started to consider himself ugly. I wld like angst, but a satisfying pay off/resolution.
