Immediately stopped. Isn't it so convenient that the mangaka can draw yt ppl but can't draw black ppl? In this day and age? Where there is so many respectful references of black art you can pull from? There's literally no excuse in 2023 and anyone who does that MAKES AN INTENTIONAL CHOICE to draw black ppl that way.
It's these places that are largely monoracial (japan, china, korea etc) and therefore blissfully ignorant that I'm glad I read things illegally first b4 buying/supporting the author.

When i saw that racist ass art i paused and my brain literally rebooted. Even if you wanted to draw a muscular woman, they are references of muscular women out there that's not so insulting... the internet is easily accessible, and there’s more and more art of black characters to use as references if you're confused on how to draw them, there is no excuse for this. None

I kinda wished they kept it simple, the plot is plottinggg tooo muchh. ML killing her brother was too much plotttt. I liked the neglectful mother makes amends to her son, her son comes to understand his mother's PPD (just like how I, and many others, know our mothers may not have been good mothers to us but understand that she was just as naive and just a girl and maybe even the context of how she met dad wasnt ideal (i watched barbie okay)), and i honestly like this type of miscommunication-romance plot that has a more mature flavour to it (he's hiding SOOO much like his legitimacy, or the killings to be with her and she's hiding because of social expectations on what it means to be a compliant noblewoman, wife, and esp a mother). Miscommunication that's just between two high schoolers or whatever is just so irritatingggg like your life is not in danger just communicate! But here, literally so much is at risk for both of them if they become vulnerable to each other (even though we as the audience now that it's safe for them to be honest with each other, they don't know that) Fundamentally, they both thought they married the other for political reasons, they've already built a habit/routine of hiding and lying for the other's sake and now it's hard to unravel.
But now i with the brother dead I just feel like we've gone past the point that i cld route for them :/. Messing with family is where i draw the line, like imagine: yall Miscommunicate so hard that now your brother murdered??

I still ship the mc with his fan. Yuna was it? I stopped around ch 50 cuz i dread him and the trainer being endgame. Feel free to convince me/change my mind

I ship them until Yuna started acting as that kind of girlfriend who does what they want and then assumes their partner enjoys everything they love too. She's a good human being, but as a partner, she's not as sensitive and doesnt respect boundaries. More so, they're just not compatible with the mc. That talk with his bad knees tells it all. The mc was right. He feels exhausted and offended spending his day with her and how she had to phrase her opinions like that.
Maybe she would be compatible to someone else, but if its about being endgame with mc, a big no no. The mc knows it too. I just hoped he saved her from heartbreak by not committing to her as a lover if he had always liked soohyun.
Pretty satisfied with the endgame of mc but that felt so rushed ://
Does anyone else feel that Seonyul vaguely reminds them of Yoongi from BTS? Just me? Okay ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Yesss I feel that too!
that’s exactly what i was thinking too
