I completely agree, he rlly did like her and seeing her be so wishy washy about their relationship (even tho it started as fake in the beginning) was heartbreaking
honest to god, i'm happy that they broke up. feelings can be fickle, i get it. but at the same time, it's extremely painful to see shirotaki wholeheartedly love hitsuji while she constantly jumps back and forth between him and fujiwara. love triangles fucking suck.
shirotaki may have been an ass at times, but i'd 100% love a side story where he ends up with someone who loves him back with all their heart.
