it is not cruel, as a small fetus is a lump of cells. The problem is that it is painful for the mother as those cells are still a part of her and the procedure hurts too and comes with risks. Honestly, it takes a lot of guts to go through one.

More like the after-effects. It is uncomfortable nonetheless during the procedure. Not a single woman makes an abortion on a whim. That is why I am always laughing when I hear that men think women will ever use abortion as contraception. Not to mention that there is a risk of unfertility afterwards if the doctor is not good.
Bottom line: Abortion is always a heavy decision for the mother. The fact that some men think they have the right to decide upon that is quite bitter. Women should have control over their own bodies.

No problem. I do not want to sound preachy and it has nothing to do with the topic, but do try from time to time to open up. I am not talking about this subject, I mean in general. It is good to speak to people. Knowledge is power and the more you know, the better prepared you are for whatever comes your way.
