If was kinda off so I assume that the stalker wasn't the blond haired dude. I mean, that guy is a murderer that keeps corpses inside his room meaning that he is probably confident with his own abilities. He probably knew that the protag suspected him. If the stalker was the blonde haired guy then he wouldn't have made it so obvious since he already sends him notes and shit. Plus the blonde haired dude probably wanted to see what would happen until the end because he found it amusing. I have 3 ideas in mind that is maybe what happened;
1.) The stalker took advantage of the protag's suspicion of the blond haired guy so that he won't be suspected right away
2.) The stalker isn't that smart or just doing things carelessly (since the hole could've possibly been seen on the other side of the door which means he was possibly taking risks)
3.) Blonde haired guy is actually the stalker and he's just saying shit and stuff
