I would have the same expression is I found our my male best friend has been secret dating my little sister for 2 months, in addition I find out that they're in relationship because my little sister got stabbed because of my male best friend's personal drama. Expecting anyone to be all smiles with such a situation is crazy! The big brother's reaction is normal and has nothing to do with being homophobic. They lied and someone got gravely hurt, that some being his lil brother and the cause of all that was his best friend. Feeling betrayed and angry and wanting to protect his lil brother after all that is justifiable.
