Senpai’s feelings

A ghost November 18, 2020 6:47 am

I don’t care if Senpai says he loves Morinaga or not because he shows his love in many ways already. He has stayed by his side for years, he always notices when Morinaga is down, he saved him in the fire and gets emotional when he has to recall the moment he almost lost Morinaga. Senpai opened his home to Morinaga and never left his side even after Morinaga graduated. Senpai accepts Morinaga and said that he is special to him which is why he is alright making love with another dude. His old professor scarred him when he nearly assaulted him but he trust Morinaga. Senpai is just super busy, has a lower sex drive and isn’t as sentimental. He is tied to his research which is why it sometimes seems like she’s being cold. Senpai loves Morinaga and him not explicitly saying it doesn’t take away from his love :3

Thank you for the very sensible reasoning!!! I don't understand why people keep saying that there's no development, when so many things has changed since the beginning (Challengers)!!!! I mean seriously!!! And then everyone is hating on Souichi for being a violent tsundere, but if you understood his history and applied that to logical reasoning (Not fiction reasoning, I mean reality)then you would understand exactly WHY he acts the way that he do. People wants to rush the relationship along to the point of them being lovey dovey, but you can't do that with these types of characters!!!! There must be sensible development!!!!

Sorry for my rant btw... Thank you for understanding the manga and explaining it to others!!!!

Thank you so much for this! I don't understand why people keep saying there's no development when there's been so much subtle development throughout the entire story. And for senpai to just outright say "I love you" and be all lovey-dovey wouldn't make sense, it wouldn't suit his character at all.
