I truly hope she has some very bad memory problems because I'm absolutely incredulous that she as a teacher needs her disciple to teach her the basics of cultivation.
Seriously. Even if she had a different cultivation before (demonic cultivation) she teached the ML how to do it.
It makes no sense that she is that dependent and ignorant about it.
i think she doesn't remember everything that happened that night in the past.. remember when the harry potter guy got drunk and wanted to tell her something, but she doesn't understand because its not what she remembers?? and she asked him what are u trying to tell me but the sect master fell asleep already... she knew something is wrong.. but she only believe what she could remember... and why is the sect master in so much pain and looking for her in the present, if he really wanted to kill her in the past.. i think the two of them make a preparation, a plan or something, but she can't remember it.. what if someone sabotage her in the past without the harry potter guy knowing.. what if it was actually her request to the harry potter guy to kill her that way.. but she just can't remember...
